A Passion for Life – “Do you ever feel like something is missing?”
A Passion for Life is a series of events we are running from Wednesday 11th to Sunday 15th March at Christ Church Dunstable, exploring life’s big questions in a relaxed and friendly setting. Each event looks at a different area where many of us feel something may be missing — peace, joy, answers, purpose and hope.
We’d love you to join us. Bring a friend.
Missing Peace – Women’s Brunch
Wednesday 11 March, 9:45 – 11am, in the Church Building
Details: Enjoy a relaxed brunch with pastries, friendly conversation, and space to pause in the middle of a busy week. We’ll explore why so many of us feel restless or overwhelmed — and where lasting peace can actually be found, as we hear the experiences of how women found peace in the midst of chaos.
Missing Joy – Seniors 60+
Thursday 12 March, 10:30am – 12pm, in the back of The Way Coffee House
Details: A friendly morning for over-60s with refreshments, activities and discussion. We’ll look at the difference between happiness and deep-down joy, and why joy can still grow even through life’s challenges and changes.
Author and speaker, Brian Edwards will share where we can find lasting Joy.
Missing Answers – Quiz Night
Friday 13 March, 7:30 – 9:30pm, in the Church Building
Details: A fun, fast-paced quiz night for teams of friends, family or neighbours — with prizes, laughter and trivia, topped off with a thought-provoking message about life’s biggest questions. If you’ve ever wondered whether there are real answers to life, faith and meaning, this evening is for you.

Missing Purpose – Men’s Breakfast
Saturday 14 March, 8 – 9:15am, in the back of The Way Coffee House
Details: A hearty breakfast and straight-talking conversation about purpose, direction, and what really makes life count. Vinnie Commons, potter and speaker, will share about how God gives his life purpose, like a potter gives purpose to a lump of clay. Relaxed, informal, and open to all men.
Purpose and Pottery – All Ages
Saturday 14 March, 10am – 12noon, in the back of The Way Coffee House
Details: Potter Vinnie Commons will be setting up his potter’s wheels for you to have a go on. This will be a creative, hands-on morning for all ages. As we shape clay, we’ll reflect on what it means for our lives to have shape and purpose too. Suitable for children, adults, and families. No experience needed — just come and have a go.
Once dried, you can come and collect your pot ready for decoration.
Missing Hope – All Ages
Sunday 15 March, 9:15am & 11:15am, in the Church Building
