Meet the team

At Christ Church every member has a part to play. There are a handful of people working in a full-time paid capacity. Their role is to equip the rest of the church family to serve.

Ministry Staff

Mark Lawrence Mark Lawrence is our Lead Pastor. He preaches regularly and leads the church alongside the Pastoral Team & Elders.

Gareth Mitchell Gareth is our Associate Pastor. Gareth leads services and preaches regularly, and oversees our pastoral care, youth work and music, amongst many other roles as a Pastor. Gareth is also involved as a Trustee of Contagious Bible Ministries and the Four Counties Gospel Partnership.

Steve Neal Steve Neal is our Pastor to the Community.  He oversees our small groups in The Way, and helps the church family share the good news of Jesus in our local community.

Phil Hammersley Phil is our Assistant Pastor. His responsibilities are across all areas of church life - getting involved in our mid-week meetings and ministries, meeting with people, and leading and preaching on Sundays.

Bethan Sunners Bethan is one of our Children's & Youth workers. Bethan works part-time with responsibility for different elements of mid-week and Sunday Children's & Youth work.

Katie Prime Katie is one of our Children's & Youth workers. Katie works full time with responsibility for our mid-week and Sunday Children's & Youth work.

Sarah Curtis Sarah Curtis is our Community Worker. Sarah runs our branch of the Dunstable Foodbank operation which runs 2 days a week here at Christ Church Dunstable.

Evelyn Sharpe Evelyn is our Pastoral worker, and works alongside the Pastoral Team supporting many people within the church.

Church Office Staff

Gemma Peacham Gemma is our Church Administrator. Gemma's role is wide and varied, but her focus is management and oversight of the office including communications, processes and systems, housekeeping, stock, and admin. Gemma also gets involved with many practical aspects of church life in supporting the mid-week ministries and gearing up for Sundays.

Dudley Peacham Dudley works part time and is responsible for the day-to-day finances of the church and The Way Coffee House.

Rosie Ansell Rosie is our Assistant Administrator and Housekeeper. Rosie works alongside Gemma in her responsibilities for admin and housekeeping across the church estate.

Elders
